It is the task of specialists and special units of the Bundeswehr to take measures to counter threats posed by unexploded ordnance. Ordnance Defense serves to protect friendly and allied forces, materiel, equipment, and facilities in the field. The main task of explosive ordnance defense is to identify, render harmless, recover and dispose of unexploded ordnance.

Products for DETECT, IDENTIFY AND ELIMINATE

These include shells, bombs, mines and ammunition – mostly legacies from conflicts and crises. In the case of unexploded ordnance in particular, there is a great risk that it will be transferred if touched or moved carelessly. This makes it all the more important for explosive ordnance defense to always be at the cutting edge of technology and to equip the task forces with the best possible material.
