Blasting & Disruptor Technology

Disruptors and non-electric detonation systems are used by special operations forces or military units for bomb disposal. They are designed to defuse unconventional explosive and incendiary devices (USBV/IED) from a safe distance. Booby traps are often hidden in harmless, everyday objects and placed in a wide variety of locations. To neutralize potential sources of danger, water-based disruptors are therefore frequently used.

Disruptors are designed to shoot water at high pressure onto a suspicious object, thereby destroying any hidden explosive device or the detonator contained within it. This is done from a very short distance. Disruptors can be mounted on either a tripod or a remote-controlled manipulator, making them highly mobile.

The Shock Tube System is a non-electric, self-contained release system that is insensitive to electrical and electromagnetic influences. It can be combined directly with other types of Shock Tube Units for many different types of blasting without any preparation.
