Maximum flexibility

This X-ray panel mount was specifically designed for use with the PackBot® gripper arm. With this specialized tool, the user can position an X-ray panel in hard-to-reach areas behind an unknown object—all from a safe distance. This functionality allows for maximum flexibility in application scenarios and offers a wider range of solutions.

Mobility in use

This X-ray panel holder was designed so that the panel attached to the gripper arm swings freely under the influence of gravity. Opening and closing the PackBot® gripper arm firmly locks the mount’s ball joint in place, and the panel remains in its current position. Horizontal alignment is also possible.

Can be manipulated in radio mode

If an X-ray panel is operating in wireless mode, it is possible to detach the X-ray panel mount along with the panel. In an emergency, this feature allows the gripper arm to regain its ability to manipulate the panel. The panel is then reattached to resume positioning.

Mobile X-ray from a safe distance

Together with the XRS3RA X-ray generator mounted on the tool crossbeam, this combination ensures that users can safely operate the X-ray system from a greater distance.
