Miniturized infrared technology

At the heart of the TactiScan anesthetic scanner is a near-infrared (NIR) spectroscope. Combined with a mobile server connection, this sensor module enables fast mass data management. NIR spectrometers are used in many fields, e.g. for measuring material compositions, and have proven their worth in obtaining highly accurate measurement data under laboratory conditions. The TactiScan transfers these drug screening laboratory services into a cost-effective as well as portable platform and simplifies the investigator’s daily routine without extensive training.

Optical measurement requires no preparation and does not alter the sample in any way, preserving even small sample volumes.
