Your tasks
- Responsible, technical expert and central contact person (m/f/d) for your product portfolio of innovative security and defense systems
- Conception and definition of the article structure of our products in the ERP system
- Responsibility for the structured creation, maintenance and documentation of precise product information in our PLM system
- Maintaining supplier contacts at home and abroad, as well as close technical coordination with them
- Obtaining, recording and managing approvals, releases and detailed technical manufacturer information
- Defining and creating test and work plans for our order processing
- Definition and management of development projects as well as support for prototype tests and validations
- Supporting our sales department with tenders, at trade fairs and customer presentations
- Assessing quality deviations and initiating measures to eliminate them
- Building a sound understanding of the system and market
- Support in the selection of new suppliers and products, as well as the design of the portfolio
Your profile:
- Completed technical studies or a comparable qualification
- You have initial relevant professional experience (e.g. in technical product management, development, systems engineering or a comparable role)
- You are ready to take on operational responsibility quickly
- Interest and ideally knowledge in the field of defense or defense industry
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Confident with Microsoft Office applications
- Strategic and analytical thinking paired with market and customer orientation
- You have a high willingness to learn and initiative
- High social competence, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Ability to structure complex technical issues independently, prepare decisions and actively drive issues forward
- Willingness to travel (approx. 10%) to suppliers (worldwide) and customers
