Golden Engineering XR200 Gen. 4The XR200 Gen.4 is particularly well-suited for high-contrast imaging of organic materials, plastics, and steel up to 20 mm thick. Users can replace the X-ray tube on this device themselves or swap it out for a beryllium tube to soften the radiation. These highly portable X-ray generators can operate for hours on battery power, independent of the mains power supply. The highly portable units are lightweight, easy to handle, and ready for immediate use.
With the upgrade of the XR200 to the Gen.4 version, the following new features are now available:
- The larger, daylight-readable display with adjustable color backlighting enables better information presentation and significantly increases readability
- A second tripod screw ensures twist-proof mounting on the tripod
- Easier accessibility of the communication/data connection
- A help button in the operating menu provides the user with explanations of the menu sub-items and their operation at any time
