🚀 The KATPRO innovation network kicked off on February 26, 2025! Aachen University Hospital invited the network partners to the first meeting – a great opportunity for a joint exchange on the vision of effective disaster management.
🎯 The aim of the network is to improve medical care in emergency situations – with a focus on prevention, screening, prioritization and care.
To this end, the partners will develop innovative technologies and a standardized approach for use in major incidents, disasters and crisis situations.
Focus areas:
✅ Telemedical connection for emergency services
✅ Drone-based vision systems (indoor & outdoor)
✅ Ground robots for rough terrain & contaminated environments
